object and not much of a story. Not much of adventure like a few other hidden objects I've played. It hasn't been an hour and I am already bored with it. Then the curser moves by itself and points to nothing. I suppose it's suppose to be a hint but it's useless. Nothing is there. The curser moving by itself is a bit annoying lol. I like to see what happens next when it comes to hidden object games so I tend to play 5-6 hrs straight..this game just doesn't have the flair. I will however finish this. I have finished the first chapter. I just hate leaving anything unfinished..like building the boat lol.. Dear Steam, please give us a "meh" button or stop the game reviews. The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe is a not-so-good-not-so-bad HOG. The plot is a simplified version of good old Robinson. There are lots of HO scenes . After each successful scene, Robin constructs some part of his ship. Most of the hidden object scenes are above par but after the first half of the game, it changes dramatically. In a scene you will be asked to search a "part of a duck". But what the heck is a "part of a duck"? Feet? Wings? Head? Is it fresh or cooked? No clue. Or in another you will need to find a green butterly on a green background. The damn thing was perfectly camouflaged. If you want to finish it, use yor hints wisely. Overall, the game is not very bad. It still gives a lot of joy, if you are content with the hint button. My final judgement is a "neg" because I don't have a "meh" button. 5/10.. Simple and short, I liked the variety of mini-games. I don't particularly hate it, but I didn't really enjoy that much either. On the bright side, it's not broken! Confusing, but not broken. There are times where the solution might be way too out of the box. The getting honey part really took a while for me to realize how to solve it.For future HO devs though, please for the love of god, don't make droplets of liquid be an object to look for, especially when it's made to be so tiny and hard to find. That was such a pain, finding 3 droplets really winded me. It was more frustrating than it was challenging. The HOs ranged from surprisingly easy to extremely ridiculous, no amount of eagle eyes will let you find whatever it is they want you to find.To be honest, this game might be fun for kids or family time but I feel like you can already get better games for the price it's asking for which is pretty expensive for a game that took me only 2 hours to finish and that's with me screaming in agony per HO scene. For its original price, I really don't recommend it.. It bored me sooo much. I like hidden objects games, but I just didn't like this one.. This game have couple years and it shows, low resolution, no wide screen support, not that polised as new ones HOG games but it is decent game, not spectatular and with flaws but also not that bad, but imo not worth 10€, wait for sale like 75% and then you can try it :)
